Family notes for Hezekiah ADKINS Snr and Susannah 'Sukey' ADKINS Daniels p.64. Hezekiah was the second oldest child of Winright and Lucy ADKINS. We intend to show the known descendents of Hezekiah and Susannah, beginning with the 1850 Morgan County, Kentucky, census records. Since these people were married in 1822, there were, in all probability, other children born prior to 1833, but not as yet identified. At this time Hezekiah was 49 and Susannah was 46 years of age. Susannah has not yet been identified with any of the ADKINS families in Pike or Floyd counties, but she could have been the daughter of several of the ADKINS families such as Thomas, Moses, Bartlett, etc. Hezekiah was listed in the 1830 Pike County census as the head of a family consisting of nine people, five male children and two females. This family moved to Morgan County, Kentucky, between 1840 and 1850. Hezekiah appears in the 1850 Morgan County census with a family of six children. Hezekiah was listed in the 1870 Elliott County census - Elliott was formed out of parts of Carter, Lawrence and Morgan counties in 1869. Information available on Hezekiah's descendents in Morgan and Elliott counties is very limited at best. We list only known information and will not speculate on what appears to be some very reasonable possibilities. [55]
