Notes for Winright ADKINS

Lived on Piggs River and Bearskin Creek in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was shown on Thomas Hart's tax list there in 1810.

Thought to have moved to Kentucky in about 1820. Listed in 1823 Pike County tax list. Land grant for 50 acres at Greasy Creek in 1824. Also at Pigeon Creek in West Virginia later sold 100 acres on Greasy Creek to Benjamin Cox on 14 August 1854.

Possibly Sally Mullins, although Sally might well have been a nickname.
