Family notes for Arthur KEEN and Hannah ASTBURY His marriage, as a report in the Birmingham Gazette & Express noted, improved his worldly prospects very notably. It is said of him that a scene in a play where a shrewd Scotsman made successful love to his master's daughter gave him the line upon which he was soon to act with such excellent results.
