From Congleton town centre, at the very top of Canal road, on the left just before the railway bridge. Boats, moor south of Dog Lane Aqueduct at Congleton Wharf, down the path, turn right up the hill about 300m. Canal Road Stores (open late) are nearly opposite the pub.
