This traditional 18th century country pub is actually out of sight of the canal but it is the only accessible one between Bosley locks and Congleton so it is well worth the short walk!

Courthouse Restaurant and bar snacks every lunchtime and evening. Food served all day Saturday and Sunday.

From the canal at br.61, walk up the hill - it's about 300m on the left. By road, it is on the A54 Buxton Congleton road about 2 miles from Congleton.
