Notes for 2nd Lt Robert Milner PADDISON Known as Bob. 4 Apr 1917 Reported missing; POW in Karlsruhe, Krefeld and Holzminden in Germany. One of 29 who escaped from Holzminden, known as the Great Escape of WWI, Paddison was re-captured on the Dutch border. 1918 repatriation. Keen artist. His papers are lodged at Leeds University Library.
