Notes for Richard Kenneth Francis 'Dick' ADKINS Dick requested that his ashes be divided between his home country, New Zealand, and
that of his ancestors, England. And so his widow Beth Adkins came to the UK with a
small container holding about half of Dick's ashes. On 13th June 2008 she met with
other members of the related Adkins family including Theo & Rachel Christophers and
Tim & Thea Boddington (Tim is the Webmaster) at Weston-on-Avon parish church, where
the vicar conducted a small ceremony and committed Dick's ashes to a burial in the
churchyard adjacent to the grave of his great grandfather, John Caleb
ADKINS (1809-1871) . [95]
