There is some confusion in Daniels′ notes because this family is repeated on p.75 where Ermel is shown as the son of Robert ADKINS and Lora RATLIFF. I have entered a child Ermel under those parents but I have left the family of Ermel and Hazel Marie HARRIS under Waydler and Bella Verdie ADKINS. Joey Butler ADKINS is listed only on p.75. Further confusion arises on page 152 where Daniels lists Ermal (with an ′a′) marrying, as before, June HALL, but then listing two children that don′t appear on the earlier pages, but including four children who were previously ascribed to Hazel Marie HARRIS. Looking at the birth dates of these children, the first, Paul James, was born in 1947, but all the others were born from 1964 to 1974. I think it is likely that Paul James was born to Pearlie J SYCK and the others to Hazel Marie HARRIS. I have recorded them in that way. [Webmaster]
