Notes for Opal POTTER There is some confusion regarding Opal. On p.189 Daniels lists her as a child of Morn ADKINS and marrying Fennie ADKINS. However, on p.77, there is listed an Opal POTTER marrying Finney ADKINS. Fennie and Finney sound like variations on the same name - Finney. I suspect the two Opals are the same person. This suggests that Opal′s mother was married to a POTTER prior to marriage to Morn ADKINS. I have entered them into the database on this basis. [Webmaster]
