Notes for Andrew Clinton 'Andy' LONG Andrew LONG was a farmer and possibly the best orchard man in Pike County. When his neighbors frequently came to him for advice on the care of fruit trees, especially when they wanted to know the best time to trim them, Andy would always reply "The best time to trim fruit trees is whenever your knife is sharp."
Notes for Hannah ADKINS Hannah was said to be extremely beautiful, possibly the most beautiful woman in eastern Kentucky!
