Family notes for Wilburn ADKINS and UNKNOWN Daniels, p.167.
May have married Mary Jane GILLESPIE. There appears to be very little information on Wilburn or his family. We did not locate him in any of the census records until the 1900 Floyd County census. We are at a loss to explain where he was before that time. There was a Wilburn ADKINS listed in the 1880 Pike County census, but all of the children are different from those named in the 1900 Floyd County records. [55]
