Notes for Allen D ADKINS They resided on Big Creek in Pike County except for about six years when they lived in Roan County, West Virginia. In the 1870 Pike County census records, these people were listed as ″Keeping a Whore House″. This is the first and only time I have seen such information listed. [55]
