Notes for John Tanner RAY The family started out living in Keynsham, near Bristol, in Somerset UK. Before the birth of Hannah Winifred they moved to Bradford in Yorkshire. John Tanner Ray, a solicitor, brought the family to New Zealand soon after the death of his wife (1885 or 86), before 1890 when he remarried in New Zealand.
