Notes for Sanford ADKINS We were not able to locate Sanford in any of the census records. There was a Sanford ADKINS that married Julia ARBITT on 8-11-1877, that maybe our Sanford. The marriage took place in Morgan County, KY. Sanford married again in Morgan County on 4-28-1928. He gave his age as 69 at this time (b.1859) and that his parents were Jesse ADKINS and Betsy BONER. He married at this time Emily ADKINS, age 62, and her parents were listed as Hawkins ADKINS and Melinda Blankenship Osborne ADKINS. [55]
