Notes for Almeda E 'Peggy' THOMPSON

Peggy, mother to Nancy, and Jill, passed away without ever knowing her biological parents. Long story short, the girl’s submitted their DNA to Ancestry and I began creating a new tree based entirely upon DNA matches. The objective was to try and determine Peggy’s biological parents.

Each time a new DNA match popped up I fleshed it out as much as possible. Eventually, like Cheerio’s in a bowl, each tiny floating tree within the bigger tree began to coalesce and connect.

That DNA tree has grown quite large now [2025]. It’s been my focus for the past number of years. I′ve pretty well pinned down the biological mother that gave up Peggy at birth. Father is 100% Swedish but I still haven’t pinned down a name. Jill and Nancy proved to be around 50% Nordic, mostly Swedish. The rest from the UK Adkins and Malins.

Marion FILES is most likely the 100% Norwegian mother. We even met one of her known grandchildren. I traced her Norwegian roots back to a specific farm on Helgøya Island in the far north of Norway. Amazing results considering we started from zero. [142]

Notes for Lynn Foster CRONEMILLER II

Highly Decorated Veteran of World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. [57]
