Notes for Fred Winright COX Fred was an educator in the Pike County KY school system for many years. He was
high school principal at Johns Creek, Dorton and Virgie. He was assistant
superintendent of the Pike County school system prior to his retirement. Fred was
a foreman instructor at the Willow Run Bomber plant in Michigan during WWII. He is
buried in the Johnson Memorial Park at Pikeville KY.
